predictive Wi-Fi survey (on plan)
In the pre-deployment phase, the predictive Wi-Fi survey aims to determine the type, number and precise location of the access points necessary for radio coverage of a defined area, depending on the density of Wifi customers, infrastructure-related constraints, applications or services envisaged.
It takes into account the topology of the space to be covered, the propagation constraints and the signal attenuation coefficient according to the materials.
Tools and Constraints
The survey is carried out by our engineers, using professional Wi-Fi simulation software, the market leader in Wi-Fi solutions. This will calculate and determine the locations, number and type of Wi-Fi access points to be set up according to the size of the walls, their materials as well as the configuration of the building and the presence of disruptive elements. (elevator shaft, electrical installations…) .

The on-site Wi-Fi survey has the additional objective of analyzing the Radio Frequency environment on site, also called spectral analysis.
